Identify your ML2000 lock first
Corbin Russwin ML2000 parts are numbered with an F or L code (for example 423F55 or 340L60020), and the right part depends on the lock function, the trim and the door thickness. Read the function from the lock model (ML2020, ML2030, ML2060 and so on), note the lever or escutcheon design and measure the door. Armored fronts: match the bolt layout
The armored front is the plate on the lock edge that covers the cylinder set screw and is cut for the bolts of each function. Corbin Russwin lists a different front for each layout: latchbolt only (423F55), latchbolt and auxiliary latch (624F49), deadbolt and latchbolt (423F54), latchbolt, auxiliary latch and toggle (681F31), deadbolt only (079F00) and deadbolt, latchbolt and toggle (402F31). Look at the bolts on your lock edge before ordering.
Spindles, levers and door thickness
Spindles must match the door thickness, so measure the door before ordering. The catalog lists ML2000 spindle assemblies for 1-3/8" (499F82-8), 1-3/4" (499F83-8) and 2-1/4" (499F84-8) doors, and the 680F35-8 inside spindle for half lever trim on 1-3/4" doors. Outside levers come as lever and spindle assemblies in cast designs such as CS, NS, AS, DS and RS, and some inside levers are handed (670F31 RH/RHR, 670F32 LH/LHR).
Escutcheons, roses and trim alignment
ML2000 trim is offered with roses or escutcheons, and the catalog lists wrought "M", "N" and "P" escutcheons, cast "R" escutcheons and rose packets in cast "B", cast "F" and wrought "A" designs. Trim alignment (adapter) packets, such as the 466F42, help the new trim line up with the lock body. Note whether you need the inside or the outside piece, because they are listed separately.
Indicators and emergency keys
Corbin Russwin lists ML2000 indicators for keyed and non-keyed functions (720F22 secure, 741F22 and 720F62 vacant, 723F26 thumbturn indicator) and ML190 to ML197 indicators for sectional trim, in Unlocked/Locked, Vacant/Occupied and icons-only versions. The 605F42 emergency key opens privacy functions ML2020, ML2030 and ML2060 from outside.
