Norton Door Operators

Norton Rixson offers two types of low energy operators: electromechanical and electrohydraulic. Electrohydraulic operators incorporate a door closer for smooth reliable door control. Advantages include long life, nearly silent operation, and smooth feel of the door closer.

Electromechanical operators feature a motor and gearbox  for consistent automatic operation. Advantages include compact size and precise door control including special features such as dynamic braking, latch assist, power close, and power assist.
