Cores

Interchangeable core cylinders allow facility managers to rekey a lock in seconds without tools, removing and replacing the core with a control key rather than disassembling the hardware. This makes them the preferred cylinder format for schools, hospitals, and large commercial facilities where lock changes happen frequently across hundreds of openings.

Small format interchangeable cores (SFIC) follow the Best IC standard and fit cylinders from Schlage, Falcon, Corbin Russwin, and Sargent, while large format interchangeable cores (LFIC) are proprietary to each manufacturer and not cross-compatible.
